Was 2003 als Vision begann, ist heute ein nationales Distributionsnetz: Die BAK-SAN GmbH ist der führende türkische Grosshändler der Schweiz. Von zwei Lagerstandorten aus beliefern wir über 760 Geschäftskunden – vom ethnischen Fachmarkt über die Gastronomie bis zur Lebensmittelindustrie. Unser Geschäftsmodell ist breit abgestützt und dadurch auch in schwierigen Zeiten belastbar.

Unsere Geschichte
The founding
Bekir Bakirci founds BAK-SAN GmbH in Wettingen AG as a one-man operation. The start is made with a single delivery van — groceries are purchased from wholesalers and resold to various clubs.
Moving to Regensdorf
The company moves into the warehouse at Querstrasse 24. Starting in May, Bekir Bakirci works as the sole employee and managing director of 100 %—with active support from his family. Direct imports from Turkey begin: Cebel olives, Selva pasta, Gesas jams, and Duru bulgur.
Growth & New Assortment
Around ten years later, BAK-SAN consists of 5 employees, 3 delivery vans, 1 small transport vehicle, and 1 passenger car. The product range is expanded to include cosmetics and cleaning supplies — the products come primarily directly from the manufacturers.
Second Location Otelfingen
Expansion of storage capacity with a second location. Supply of over 500 customers throughout Switzerland.
Nationally listed
Breakthrough in national retail: Transgourmet and Prodega are supplied directly, and Migros is also supplied directly for production in Bischofszell. Further deliveries to Migros and Coop are made via intermediaries.

Automated order processing around the clock. Business customers order throughout Switzerland with real-time availability and individual conditions.
